hellen keller? This has been addesed at lenth on facebook and there is an in car cam vidio on youtube of the whole thing. sure steve spun the#6 car ,seems alot of other drivers would have done the same thing. As for hitting an offial , when he took off from talkin to Bob Munrow Bobs hand hit the side of the car, I dont think he was hurt in any way as you can see in the vid later on when his hands are both on the door (again talking to steve) there is no blood or any thing. The insedent with the 33 car is clearly seen as well and some think that steve had the spot and the 33 turned down and caused himself to spin leading to a freek roll over in witch no one was hurt. As for hiting the wall and scaping the paint on the bumper who cares. So theres no instent replay in racin and we have been suspended for two weeks for spining a lap car, and thats why they call it Fuckin Racin. Google star speedway rookie race 5-14-11 in car . Its a little different though the drivers eyes. As for the passing flag I guess it would be good to know offialy if its going to be used or not.

does anyone know of a race ready roadrunner or thunderlight for sale ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????
05-17-2011 3:55:20 PM CST
i came up with the little one at the end to meet up with some friends and from what i SAW for "road runners" it was mostly the over built mini stocks from lee. Myles20 had a great showing for the road runner contingent. His escort, and the 22 Saturn (former lee car) were all that were NOT mustangs. Mini stocks on Falkens. might come down once later in the year but sticking to enduros and Monadnock and Hudson mostly i think.

from my count there was 6 out of 12 rookies from hudson mayb more. 01, 1, 33, 33jr, 79, 21

rookie dq: is this a hellen keller/ ray charles joke? he only dumped the 6 car and then flipped the 33.. and hit a track official ( ill leave out the wall too), but if the PASSING FLAG was out this wouldve never happend... just an fyi when the passing flag is present and ur sooo fast the slower cars are to feed the bottom and your too pass up high.. just throwing it out there.

Why was the #1 car DQ'd in the Rookie race at Star this week?
05-17-2011 12:56:23 PM CST
I think you will see a fair amount of the Hudson Rookies continuing to run Hudson, where there cars are set up to race. The points funds are different and it would be very expensive to run a competitive season at both Star and Hudson. The cars will even out as the season goes on and teams figure out where they run better and where the slow cars are.

The rr class at star is most of the lee cars since they shut down their 4 cyl division, they have race wheels, built motors, and are basically mini stocks without the hoosiers. they are fast, and then their were a few "roadrunner cars"

Nope all on falkens

re, hey 11x, were those mustangs all mini stocks with hooser tires, or were they r r.

With only 10 rookie cars showing up at STAR where are all the other Hudson rookie cars? Saw 2 cars from Hudson.... Hope this doesnt go back to several years ago showing up for a 5 car race??
05-16-2011 10:57:00 PM CST
About 15 rr escort saturn neon the rest all mustangs

whats the rules on rims? we had 8 lee cars show up to star with 7 inch racing rims. If that's ok then all well and good but i thought we had to be on 6 inch stock wheels.

who won the r r feature saturday, and how many cars were there.

couldnt agree more, look at how many first time winners last year, hell look at all different winners . andy nichols , slika, dan murphy , jerry lepage ,bill clement heath t ...why would you want to change great racing?
05-16-2011 3:30:08 PM CST
a body does not make a car a super street. all the fast cars are running metric front ends ten bolt rears as came in them factory if they were super streets they would have camaro fronts 9" ford rears. all the people on here bitching either dont race in that class or dont do there homework!!! if they enforce your ideas of rookies then throw all the cars out and go back 7 to 10 years when the class struggled to have 10 cars in the class.they might be all strictlys but not super streets. sit back and enjoy some great racing in the rookies
05-16-2011 7:11:26 AM CST
ANYTHING goes in the rookies! You'd be stupid to run with anything less than a Super Street. Good luck!

Permits are in hand, and have been. More mis- information from the rumor mill. Everything's ready to go and I will guarantee nobody was more disapointed by the rainout than Bob. Look foward to next weekend & we will see you all at Hudson International Speedway!

Nice to see Star opened! So tell me based on what i saw for cars can any type of car enter in the rookies? Can I alter the body or does it have to stay stock?
